Anwar Imad Mebarek
Flute player and teacher in Cairo
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Cairo Eastgate Orchestra
- 1997 to 2022
- English, Arabic
I've played flute from 1997 to 2022, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 8 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I garden badly but happily.
What gifts mean to Anwar: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
