For 17 years I ran the baseball program at Greenfield Boxing Gym in Karachi. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Anum
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Anum: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
