Anucha Boon Wongprasert

Woodcarving artist in Bangkok

English

I'm a woodcarving artist based in Bangkok. I've been making things since 1987 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Anucha

I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Anucha: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
