Somchai F Boonmee
Self-taught ceramics artist
- 🇹🇭 Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai, Thailand
- Old Chiang Mai Studio
- Since 1993
- English
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 1993 at Old Chiang Mai Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Old Chiang Mai Studio, which keeps me honest.
What gifts mean to Somchai: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
