Antonio Leonardo Battaglia
Youth basketball coach and mentor
- 🇮🇹 Milan, Lombardy, Italy
- Jacaranda Youth Club
- Since 2018
- English, Italian, French
For eight years I've run the basketball program at Jacaranda Youth Club in Milan. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Antonio: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2025. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Gwagwalada.
