I coached cross country at San Francisco Community Club from 2018 to 2025. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Annabelle
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
