I spent 21 years as a lecturer in linguistics at Greenfield Institute of Technology in Moscow. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
