Anita C. Chaturvedi
Coached basketball for nine years in Mumbai
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Mumbai Community Club
- 2002 to 2011
- English, Hindi
For nine years I ran the basketball program at Mumbai Community Club in Mumbai. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Anita: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
