For four years I have run a street-food cart in Vigo. In July, a fire in the building took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go. Where the $2,950 goes: • Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $1,900 • Initial stock: ingredients: $570 • Shop repairs and licensing: $195 • Working capital for the first month: $285 I hope life is good to you. - Natalia

Updates from Natalia

  1. Wanted to say thank you properly. 67% funded and the plan for working capital for the first month is now scheduled.

  2. We're at 40% thanks to 29 of you. we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. More news soon.

  3. Good news. Because of your gifts ($805 in total) I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Shared it with a few friends. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings
