Andriy Maxim Maksimov
Coached rugby for 31 years in Kyiv
- 🇺🇦 Kyiv, Kyiv, Ukraine
- 1992 to 2023
- English, Russian
I coached rugby at Kyiv Sports Club from 1992 to 2023. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Andriy
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Andriy: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
