I coached swimming at Alcalá de Henares Harmony Community Club from 1988 to 2011. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ana
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
