Amparo B. Bravo
Youth boxing coach and mentor
- 🇨🇴 Cartagena, Bolívar, Colombia
- Cartagena Sports Club
- Since 1979
- English
For 47 years I've run the boxing program at Cartagena Sports Club in Cartagena. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Amparo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
