I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 2002 at Old Fairview Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Old Fairview Pottery, which keeps me honest.
What gifts mean to Amira: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.

I bought one of your pieces in 2022. It's still the first thing I see in the morning Greetings from Kano.
