Amaka Sade Yakubu
Master of electrical work, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Old Hillcrest Shop
- Since 2008
- English, Spanish
I've worked in electrical work since 2008. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 670 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Amaka: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
