Alp Yıldız
30 years teaching environmental science in Üsküdar
- 🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Üsküdar Grammar School
- 2007 to 2016
- English, French
Üsküdar Grammar School was my second home. I taught environmental science there from 2007 to 2016, mostly mixed-ability classes.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Alp
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me environmental science in 2025 at Üsküdar Grammar School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly!
