Helping people break into small business
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Addis Ababa Foundation
- Since 2015
- English, French
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 220 people through Addis Ababa Foundation.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Almaz
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Almaz: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
