Almaz Eleni Gebre
Painter, potter and teacher at Little Addis Ababa Studio
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Since 1992
- English
I work mostly in street art, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 1992 at Little Addis Ababa Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Little Addis Ababa Studio, which keeps me honest.
More about Almaz
I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Almaz: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
