I've coached cross country at Hope Swimming Club since 1996. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Alberto
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Alberto: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
