Akinyi Wambui Macharia
Local pottery and baking
- 🇺🇬 Mbale, Eastern Region, Uganda
- Since 2005
- English, Swahili
My trade is pottery. I opened my own shop in 2005 in Mbale and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
Thank you for stopping by.
What gifts mean to Akinyi: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
