Akinyi Namukasa Lyimo

27 years teaching social studies in Mbarara

  • 🇺🇬 Mbarara, Western Region, Uganda
  • Mbarara Primary School
  • Since 1979
  • English
For 47 years I have been the social studies teacher at Mbarara Primary School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've run the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Akinyi: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
