Akello Lucy Ssemwogerere

Home economics and economics teacher, Mukono

  • 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
  • Since 1982
  • English
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 44 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I've had 1,580 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Akello

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
