I coached rugby at Mount Pleasant Boxing Gym from 1982 to 1993. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
What gifts mean to Akash: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
