Akari Uchida

Helping people break into teaching

  • 🇯🇵 Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan
  • Maple Ridge Youth Network
  • Since 2000
  • Japanese
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 680 people through Maple Ridge Youth Network. I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I fix old bicycles.

More about Akari

Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
