Adriana A. Contreras
Weaving for 46 years in Savannah
- 🇺🇸 Savannah, Georgia, United States
- Our Lady of Peace Shop
- Since 1980
- English, Spanish
I've worked in weaving since 1980. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 970 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Adriana
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Adriana: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
