I coached martial arts at San Jose Swimming Club from 1981 to 1997. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
More about Adrian
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
