Achieng Esther Omondi

Athletics and fitness coach, Dar es Salaam

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Dar es Salaam Jacaranda Community Club
  • 1991 to 2008
  • English, Swahili
I coached athletics at Dar es Salaam Jacaranda Community Club from 1991 to 2008. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
