Choir director and singer
- 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Dar es Salaam Beacon Band
- Since 2006
- English
I play folk music and choir direction. I started in 2006 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Achieng
I write my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.
