Abubakar Festus Zakari
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Wudil, Kano, Nigeria
- Starlight Repairs
- 2016 to 2024
- English, Igbo
My trade is thatching. I opened my own shop in 2016 in Wudil and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I walk the dog by the river.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

What gifts mean to Abubakar: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
