Abosede Favour Kalu
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Trades Guild
- Since 2003
- English
I've worked in welding since 2003. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,240 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.

What gifts mean to Abosede: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
