Yvonne needs an adapted tricycle that the health system won't fund; the cost is $350.

Yvonne lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at Tema General Hospital has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $350.
Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Yvonne could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $350 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $10
• Fitting and training sessions: $50
• adapted tricycle: $290
