Yakubu needs a gas stove and two refrigerators to reopen a street-food cart
Yakubu has run a street-food cart for twelve years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $350 will put it back on its feet.

For twelve years I have run a street-food cart in Gwagwalada. In June, a long illness and repossession took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $350 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $45
• Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $155
• Initial stock: ingredients: $150
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Tamale.
