I coordinate donations at the Lotus Family Centre in Laval. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Laval, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Lotus Family Centre on Tuesday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Lotus Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Wishing you the best, Jun. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Laval!
