I coordinate donations at the Harmony Family Centre in Columbus. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Columbus, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Harmony Family Centre on Sunday between 9am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Harmony Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

          • So sorry you're going through this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 27 years in construction I know how hard it is to ask for anything

            • sending strength, Alexa. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My neighbor in Entebbe donated after I showed her your page
