Buddy's bloat: help with the vet bill
A rescue greyhound named Buddy needs orthopedic surgery - a $550 bill the family can't cover.

Buddy is my rescue greyhound of two years. On 28 July we rushed to the Santos Emergency Vet Clinic with bloat. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $550.
They have stabilized Buddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Buddy is more than a pet - Buddy got me through my hardest year. I have already put $75 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Santos Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $550 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $360
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $105
• Medication and follow-up visits: $40
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45
