Pablo was diagnosed with prostate cancer in December. The oncology team at the Cartagena Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in March. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Pablo is 46, worked as a farmer until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Cartagena Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
