Winter coats and boots for 35 children at Sycamore Refugee Centre in Austin

I coordinate donations at Sycamore Refugee Centre in Austin. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Austin, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Sycamore Refugee Centre on Wednesday between 9am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Sycamore Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thank you for reading my story.
