Help Maya restart a fish stall in Bekasi after a fire in the building
A fish stall in Bekasi needs help replacing a freezer and scales after a fire in the building.
🇮🇩 Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia1,555 views
For nine years I have run a fish stall in Bekasi. In February, a fire in the building took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $200
• Initial stock: the first catch: $45
• Shop repairs and licensing: $105
• Working capital for the first month: $50
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

You're not alone. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I hope May is when things finally get easier. God bless.
You're not alone. Hope the shop reopens soon. Greetings from Rajshahi
