Winter coats and boots for 32 children at Acacia Women's Shelter in Fresno
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Acacia Women's Shelter.
🇺🇸 Fresno, California, United States305 views
I coordinate donations at Acacia Women's Shelter in Fresno. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Fresno, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Acacia Women's Shelter on Friday between 10am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Acacia Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thanks for being kind about this.

thinking of you. Hope this works out for you. Please keep us posted.
sending good thoughts. Shared this with my family. Wish I lived closer to Accra so I could bring a meal.
Praying for you, Gerardo. This could happen to any of us. I hope October is when things finally get easier. Love from Belfast.
Hope it all works out, Gerardo. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. After 29 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Fresno
