Winter coats and boots for 30 children at Union Women's Shelter in Kathmandu

I coordinate donations at Union Women's Shelter in Kathmandu. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Kathmandu, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Union Women's Shelter on Saturday between 11am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Union Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
