Winter coats and boots for 29 children at the Unity Family Centre in Tuxtla Gutiérrez

I coordinate donations at the Unity Family Centre in Tuxtla Gutiérrez. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Unity Family Centre on Saturday between 10am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Unity Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thank you for reading my story.
