I coordinate donations at the Acacia Community Church in Phuket. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Phuket, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Acacia Community Church on Thursday between 9am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Acacia Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

  • Your post was clear and honest. After 17 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best!

Keep going, Supaporn. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.

      • Thanks for sharing this, Supaporn. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you

        • Gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor in Yekaterinburg donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Yekaterinburg.

          • Hope it all works out, Supaporn. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Davao City so I could bring a meal
