Yard rescue for Ethan, 88: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Garden rescue day in San Antonio: bring gloves and a rake.
🇺🇸 San Antonio, Texas, United States401 views
I'm 88 and I have lived in this house in San Antonio for 50 years. After the storm in December, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Glad we found this place.
