Winter coats and boots for 26 children at Sycamore Women's Shelter in Duque de Caxias

I coordinate donations at Sycamore Women's Shelter in Duque de Caxias. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Duque de Caxias, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Sycamore Women's Shelter on Thursday between 9am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Sycamore Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
