I coordinate donations at the Unity Family Centre in Arlington. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Arlington, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Unity Family Centre on Tuesday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Unity Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Verona donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Verona.
Sending strength. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. It's not much but it's yours. Take care.
So sorry you're going through this, Ethan. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. My neighbor in Los Angeles donated after I showed her your page. Love from Los Angeles.
