Need strong backs and a van: moving Trinh to safer housing
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Springfield.
🇺🇸 Springfield, Missouri, United States557 views
After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Springfield, and the lease starts on Friday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about six hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

keep going, Trinh. Shared this with my family. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
Sending strength. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We're a small family in Albuquerque but we're thinking of you.
Hope things get better soon, Trinh. Hope you get there. My husband and I read this together
wishing you the best. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Los Angeles.
You're not alone, Trinh. Looking forward to the next update. I'll check back for the next update. God bless.
