I coordinate donations at the Acacia Community Church in Edinburgh. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Edinburgh, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Acacia Community Church on Sunday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Acacia Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Best of luck, Howard. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Dharan so I could bring a meal. All the best
Stay strong, Howard. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
Good luck. Hope this works out for you. Don't give up. All the best
gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Cebu City.
Good luck, Howard. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. God bless
