William's early-stage lung cancer treatment fund
6 rounds of treatment are planned at Birmingham Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

William was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in October. The oncology team at Birmingham Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
William is 38, worked as a bank teller until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Birmingham Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $5,450 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,300
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $640
• Scans and lab work: $1,510
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hang in there, Wesley. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best.
Wishing you peace. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
Best of luck, Wesley. Wishing William a smooth procedure and a full recovery.
