Weekly meals for neighbors in need in Rosario
Marisol runs a volunteer pantry feeding 70 families; this fund restocks shelves for the summer.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Sunday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 19 families, and now we feed 70 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 41% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 14 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Rosario market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $400 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $100
• Refrigeration and electricity: $35
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $265
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Updates from Marisol
Good news. Because of your gifts ($254 in total) we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Update from Rosario: we've started the first stage. We're at 36% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
We're at 14% thanks to 2 of you. I made the first payment toward fresh vegetables and fruit. More news soon.
