Weekly meals for families facing hunger in Noida
The the Thursday Table pantry in Noida is running low just as demand rises; $350 will stock it for 9 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Tuesday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 21 families, and now we feed 168 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 49% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Noida market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $350 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $25
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $70
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $255
