Weekly meals for families facing hunger in Guadalajara
Carolina runs a volunteer pantry feeding 295 families; this fund restocks shelves for the harvest gap.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Tuesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 22 families, and now we feed 295 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 30% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 17 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Guadalajara market and keep every receipt.
Each $15 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $500 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $115
• Baby formula and diapers: $195
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $190
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thinking of you. More neighborhoods should do this. It's not much but it's yours. Blessings.
